What is Be Mate?
Be Mate is more than just an accommodation company: it’s travelling while feeling like you’re at home. We offer you the best of both worlds: the freedom of an apartment with the security and services of a hotel. Apartments that you not only want to stay in, but that you don’t want to leave.
We want you to enjoy your chosen destination, which is why all our apartments are located in the city centre.

How do I book?
Booking an apartment with Be Mate couldn’t be easierC.
Enter your destination, travel dates and number of people to see which apartments are available according to your preferences.
Search: we have already selected the best apartment for you. Remember, all our apartments are located in the prime areas of the cities in which we operate.
Book: once you have selected the apartment that best suits your needs, book it through our website with complete security.
Travel: to complete your Be Mate experience, concierge services are available in buildings that consist entirely of Be Mate apartments. In addition, should any unforeseen circumstances arise, all our apartments enjoy the support of the closest Room Mate hotels.

What is Be Mate Corporate?
Be Mate Corporate is looking for apartments that suit the needs of your business travellers. We understand that every corporate rental has different characteristics, which is why a specialist business advisor will accompany you throughout the entire process.

How much do I have to pay to make a booking?
The total amount you will need to pay for your booking includes the cost of accommodation, Wi-Fi service, supplies and applicable local taxes. All amounts will be detailed during the booking process.
Other taxes:
In some destinations, you may be required to pay additional taxes, which can be of two types:
Value Added Tax (VAT): this will be applied to customers residing in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and South Africa. In these cases, 21% VAT (corresponding to the rate in Spain) will be added to the total Guest Commission fee.
Local taxes: depending on the location of the apartment booked, additional local taxes may be payable. In this case, the host will inform you of these taxes at the time of check-out. Be Mate will not be responsible for managing the collection of these amounts, which must be paid directly at the destination and not through our platform.
What is the tourist tax?
In some cities travellers are obliged to pay a tourist tax, which is a local tax that must be paid at the destination, upon arrival or departure from the apartment.
When is the booking charged?
Once the booking request has been confirmed the total price of the booking will be charged, depending on the applicable conditions.
Booking requests are confirmed once they are accepted by the host. Instant bookings are confirmed immediately.
What payment methods are accpeted?
Payment may be made with major credit and prepaid cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. Many debit cards can also be processed as credit cards.
