Video Surveillance Policy

Privacy Policy - Video surveillance on Be Mate facilities

Be Mate Community España S.A.U., with Tax Identification Number A-87035838 and registered office in Madrid, at 8 Serrano Street, 28001, Madrid (hereinafter, “Be Mate”), has installed a video surveillance system on its premises to preserve its integrity and security, that of the people who transit through said premises (such as our clients and workers), and that of other property belonging to Be Mate, our employees, our clients, or third parties. Through these video surveillance devices, Be Mate may capture your image, which will be processed for the purposes described above.

Regarding this data processing, Be Mate acts as the data controller.

The legitimizing bases for this processing are the existence of a public interest, as well as the existence of a prevailing legitimate interest of Be Mate in ensuring the safety of people, premises, and property.

The data will not be used for automated decision-making or for profiling.

Be Mate may disclose the data to public administrations and/or relevant judicial bodies to the extent necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (based on the legal obligation of such compliance) or if necessary and/or convenient for the defense of its legitimate rights (based on its prevailing interest in the defense of such rights).
Be Mate may also share the data with its legal advisors, companies that support its computer systems, video surveillance companies, and/or any other data processors that access personal data only to provide a service to Be Mate.

The data will not be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Be Mate will keep the images captured through these video surveillance devices for a maximum period of one month from their capture, unless they need to be kept for longer to prove the commission of acts that threaten the integrity of people, premises, or property.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and/or portability by sending your request in writing (and accompanied by a copy of your ID card or other document proving your identity) to the postal address of the Data Protection Officer of Be Mate (which is the same as the one mentioned above) to the attention of the Data Protection Officer, or to the email address DPO@BEMATE.COM.

If at any time you believe that your data protection rights have been violated, do not hesitate to let us know so that we can act accordingly.
Likewise, in such cases, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency or the corresponding supervisory authority.
